Researching the 'Reichstag'
Research on the Reichstag (Imperial Diet), the assembly of the estates of the HRE, is one of the traditional focal points of early modern research in Bonn. It is dedicated to the periodic imperial diets of the 16th and 17th centuries as well as to the "Perpetual Diet" in Regensburg after 1663.
