In September 2021, the special exhibition "100 Years of Historical Regional Studies", which was created in cooperation with our department, was opened at the University Museum in Bonn. In the exhibition, visitors were able to experience the history of the Institute for Historical Regional Studies of the Rhineland, founded in 1920, using objects and documents from that time. Now, the exhibition celebrating the institute's anniversary is also available online via the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek. The online version, developed by Philipp Gatzen in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Becker, makes the exhibition - shown at the University Museum - digitally accessible and also available for longer periods of time.
