- Alma Hannig is a historian and collection coordinator for the university museums and collections at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
- She studied Medieval and Modern History, Political Science, Psychology and Spanish in Bonn, Bilbao and Salamanca.
- She has worked as a research assistant and exhibition curator for various academic institutions and museums in Germany and Austria, including the Historical Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, the Museum of Military History in Vienna, Schönbrunn Palace and the Military History Museum in Dresden.
