Yvonne Blomann is a research assistant at the Chair of Modern and Contemporary History. She studied French, History and Political Science at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) which she completed with the Bavarian State’s Exam for secondary education. Exchange student for a year at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM, Canada) and completion with the attestation en études individualisées. Various internships i.e. in industries, at public schools in Bavaria and France as well as at the International German School in Paris. Research Assistant at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, in a research project concerning the National Socialist past of the Federal German Bar and as visiting lecturer at the Sorbonne University in Paris. Research Assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Friedrich Kießling at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn. Her Ph.D. was completed with a thesis dealing with diplomatic practices in Franco-German relations.
